This is for you, Mike, since you have this idea that I never intimated to Charlie that I was serious on taking ownership of the board. Note the timestamp on that PM. That is the last one I sent him after an exchange of two or three other messages in February, and he never replied. I don't know the specifics of Neil's request or when he talked to Charlie, but I gave Charlie the basics and expected him to get back to me. It personally makes no difference to me now since it's one less thing to pay for, but I figured I'd set the record straight and it's a life lesson to all you kids: don't believe everything Mike says.

I also explained via PM that if Charlie wasn't serious about transferring the site to me, then I'm not going to hold his hand and keep pestering him until he makes a decision.

yeah, so you lost out,
Neil is the site owner now, deal with it.. pm neil.. (riptide).

last time I pm'ed you on this subject: (your reply)

Who asked you to mediate? You took that responsibility of your own volition, Mike. I'm not going to babysit Charlie--if he's serious about transferring ownership, then so be it; if not, then it's his decision. I notice that you 'self-appoint' into some dealings that don't really involve you at all. I haven't heard word one from Charlie in a while, so if he's not responding to the various PMs you've sent to both of us, then I have no better idea than you as to his whereabouts.

I appreciate your initiative, but to complain to us about a deal that involves only us seems a bit self-righteous.

Did you even read my post? The entire point of it is to clarify the BS you're disseminating via PM to various people. I don't care that Neil got it--in fact, I'd much rather Neil run it if I can't. Like I said above, I'm fine with Neil paying for it, because at least it shows Charlie made *some* decision. Either way, just clearing up that bit of misinformation thanks to you, Mike.

Thanks.

Once again, you're either ignoring or misinterpreting my post. Charlie didn't respond to me. I made it as obvious as possible that I was interested, and he didn't respond. This is not the issue at hand as I explained above. The issue is you dispersing misinformation to various people by PM, and I ask that you stop. I don't know if the latest round of opiates has further distorted your own hold on reality, but I'd advise you stay away from opining on matters you know absolutely nothing about.

then why didn't you forward this email to me back in March.. Both of you were being stubborn and avoiding each other, as well as deceiving me as a mediator. as far as I'm concerned, I dont even know why I tried to help either of you. you can both go rot in your little corners for all I care.

Look Matt, to stop the dingdonging in this thread. I was frustrated with you and charlie in Feb-March, because I was the middleman 'so to speak' of this transfer ordeal. I've been the technical backbone of xsf since it's inception. I knew charlie wanted to get rid of xsf ownership, so I initiated the dialog in PM's to prospective takers. and it went on for almost 6 weeks after charlie said you could have the site. You pm'ed me during that time asking where we stood on the transfer, charlie would pm me saying it would happen this week. that went on for numerous weeks. finally I put my foot down, and said "yall need to either get together and communicate with each other, or leave me out of it". then a couple weeks later the account was suspended. then Neil contacted me to ask what was needed. I told him the same thing I told you, and he contacted charlie and the transfer took place in a day.

You do see how it looks from my perspective, right?

I was never trying to be the bad guy, my only purpose was to facilitate the survival of xsf. I installed this whole shabang, so people use me as an admin contact, eventhough I don't have any forum admin responsibilities. I'm in a bit of a rock and hard place, and try to help the people that ask for it.

It's nothing against you, but I was very frustrated with the way the process went down in feb-march. Finally when Neil got involved it slid in place like butter.

I have no idea, but a large rubber mallet should do the trick.
