War is ugly. Sh*t happens. That's just the way it is. Millions of civilians died in WW2. When a NATION embarks on war, it puts it's own civilians at risk.

Heres the thing... this leak was given the silent nod from the very top. ;)

Those at power do not belong to any nation or country or religion. That's what allows them to divide us and put to fight against each other while they harvest the profits.

In no case would it have been possible, once the deed was done, to prove that any falsification had taken place.

Also not sure why you decided to bold that one sentence. The heat seeking missiles are obviously not being used to as great an impact considering we have not lost that many aircraft.

The number of aircraft is shockingly low. Even if you to factor in a bit of fudging on the reasons, anti-aircraft fire is having little to no effect on coalition forces. Maybe a combination of good countermeasures and no one giving the Taliban free heat seeking missiles.

If the numbnuts from New York is not able to understand why we are in Afghanistan, then I am not going to explain it to him.

Whether we are being effective or not, whether it is a smart decision, is irrelevant to why we are there.

It's not just people from New York. A majority of Americans support withdrawal.

Now, can you please explain why we are currently in Afghanistan or are you dodging the question because you are unsure yourself?

That's my point. So not sure what all the hoopla is about considering MANPADs. Its rather insignificant.

And the Taliban is getting missiles, they are getting knock off Stingers from Iran through Algeria. Maybe they are just not as good as the real thing we sold them against the Soviets.

The main reason is how the war is been fought. There are no open area fighting much. Most of the action is limited to IED's at this point and some small scale, small arms fire.
